Fire Alarm Technician Job Description

Responsibilities

Perform annual, monthly and as needed inspections on Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems. Systems serviced include fire alarms and fire warning systems, emergency and exit lighting and fire extinguishers.

Ability to perform small installations and repairs to all systems an asset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum [2] two years industry experience
  • Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) registered a must
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Electronics diploma
  • Diagnostic skills relating to all different manufacturers panels, including but not limited to Edwards, Simplex, Notifier and Mircom
  • Strong team skills and a desire to continue to learn
